On December 1, 2012, the Pacifica Chamber of Commerce, Pacifica City Council, Samtrans and the Transportation Authority, gathered to launch the city's new, free weekend shuttle service named the Devil's Slide Ride.

The free shuttle runs from 8am to 5pm with its route beginning at Linda Mar's Park n Ride, at the Highway 1 & Linda Mar Blvd. From there it travels north stopping at key points along the coast and turns around near Oceana High School to repeat the route. The route now includes a stop at the new trail on Devil Slide Trail, now part of the California Coastal Trail System and managed by the San Mateo County Parks system. The shuttle was mainly put into circulation to get locals and visitors up to the new trail on the weekends as the parking lots on the north and south end of the trial is limited.

The Devil's Slide Ride will pass by points of interest including Roberts Road where you'll view sweeping views of Linda Mar Beach, the Pacifica Pier where it rides along Beach Blvd and what we call the Beach Promenade, Mori Point where one can hike the historical property owned by the San Francisco Golden Gate National Recreation Area; the Pacifica Moose Lodge where every other Sunday bingo is a big hit; Rockaway Beach where many retail, restaurants & hotels reside and Linda Mar Beach home to hundreds of surfers every weekend.

The free shuttle can accommodate bikes, wheelchairs and surfboards.Sorry, no dogs allowed.
